Fuencarral Tennis and Paddle Tennis Club
This club opened in 1991 with 4 tennis courts. Today it has 12 paddle tennis courts, 6 tennis courts (of which 2 can be converted to 6 mini-tennis courts) and, most importantly, more than 3,000 students per year in its schools.
The club’s facilities belong to the Carmen Pardo-Valcarce Foundation and it is a source of income for its charity work.
Besides running the school and renting out the courts, the club has a morning paddle tennis league with more than 90 women’s doubles teams divided into 8 groups. In addition to these there are 5 female veterans’ teams, 3 male veterans’ teams, 2 Liga Norte teams, and 2 youth teams.
Children’s summer camps are organised during July and August, as well as intensive two-week courses for all levels.
The Club’s well-established prestige and quality was the key to it being granted management of the Club Golf La Moraleja Racquet School, as of October 2013.
